Piala Cahya Mata began with a humble grassroots football initiative known as the Mambong Community Cup in 2024, created to bring communities together through the spirit of football and sportsmanship. Building on the positive response and growing participation, Cahya Mata expanded the initiative in 2025 by organizing four community tournaments across different locations, culminating in the Cahya Mata Football Cup Finals 2025.
Encouraged by the impact and momentum of these tournaments, the initiative now evolves into Piala Cahya Mata 2026 — a nationwide platform spanning 14 cities across Malaysia. More than just a competition, the tournament reflects Cahya Mata’s continued commitment to community engagement, youth empowerment, fair play, and creating meaningful impact through sports.
